Sixteen students are chosen from year 6 to be monitors in the library to perform varied roles and responsibilities. These students are leaders of the school and their duties include: Returning and loaning books Shelving books and resources Helping create displays Serving customers at book fairs Ensuring resources are functional and tidy Helping younger students use computers Being responsible for games room Finding resources Be involved in library monitor meetings and excursions Leading literacy circles and lunch time activities Presenting items at assemblies
